Privacy policy

Matchday does not require an account, payment information, or a real name to use its current local-first version. We do not run advertising trackers or sell personal information.

Information stored on your device

The app uses your browser’s local and session storage to remember language, selected sport, appearance settings, favourite team, watchlist, dismissed welcome screen, and your personal “Beat the Model” picks and results. A randomly generated device identifier and an optional display handle may also be stored locally for the community feature. This information remains in your browser unless you enable a future online leaderboard or clear site data.

Information sent to other services

The app loads sports data prepared by Matchday and may load Google Fonts. When you open a news story or an external data-provider link, that third party receives information under its own privacy policy. Hosting providers may also process ordinary technical logs, such as IP address, browser type, and request time, to operate and secure a hosted site.

Online leaderboard

It is disabled in the current release. If it is enabled later, Matchday would send the pseudonymous device identifier, optional handle, and aggregated pick statistics needed to operate the leaderboard. Before enabling it publicly, the publisher will update this page with the host, retention period, and contact details for that service.

Your choices

You can clear locally stored Matchday information through your browser’s site-data controls. This policy will be updated before any accounts, payments, marketing analytics, or public community profiles are introduced.

By using Matchday, you agree to use it lawfully and for personal, informational, or analytical purposes. Matchday provides sports information, model estimates, and market context; it does not take bets, process wagers, or provide financial, legal, investment, or gambling advice.

Model and market limits

Probabilities are estimates, not guarantees. Sports results, lineups, schedules, standings, odds, and news can be delayed, incomplete, corrected, unavailable, or wrong. You are responsible for independently checking information before relying on it. Do not treat a model read, edge, ranking, or market display as a recommendation to wager.

No affiliation or endorsement

Matchday is independent. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by leagues, teams, athletes, bookmakers, news publishers, or data providers unless a written statement on this page says otherwise. Names, marks, and logos belong to their respective owners. Matchday does not claim ownership of third-party content.

Availability and changes

The product is in development and may change, pause, or be withdrawn. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Matchday is provided “as is” and without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation. The publisher may revise this page as the product changes.

Responsible use

Do not misuse the service, interfere with it, attempt to access non-public systems, or use it where prohibited. If sports information is used in connection with gambling, follow local law, age restrictions, and responsible-gambling guidance. Matchday itself is not a gambling service.

Data-source credits & notices

Data availability depends on sport, competition, plan access, and provider uptime. Matchday combines provider data with its own display logic and models; it does not represent every source as official league data.

Support, corrections & contact

Use that address for privacy questions, correction requests, accessibility feedback, data-source concerns, and general help. Include the sport, match, approximate time, and a screenshot when reporting a data issue; provider data can change or be corrected after publication.
